Improvements in or relating to post and rail systems

The rail 2 of a post and rail system carries a pair of rings 9 which carry projections 10 which can be held against a post 1 by elasticated rings 8 at any desired height. A tubular rail 20 can have a single ring 9 connected to the post 1 in a similar way. The base 22 of the post 1 supports the assembly and may be filled with ballast.
