[Also in Group XXV] A device for connecting a horizontal rail 11 to a post 10 comprises a semi-circular lug 12 attached to the post and which forms a seat for the rail. A collar 13 slides over the rail and the lug and is secured by a screw 14. In a modification the lug 12 is part of a fitting which slides over the post and is secured by locking screws.
