AUTOMATIC OPENING AND CLOSING SYSTEM FOR AUTOMOBILE DOOR ON AUTOMOBILE CONVEYER LINE

PURPOSE:To allow an automatic operation for a series of jobs such as opening doors, painting, assembling and closing doors of a car on a production line of automobiles. CONSTITUTION:A car conveyer line on ]ainting station is equipped with a conveyer 4 with brings a car 3 into a painting room 8 provided with an entrance 6 and an exit 7. Door opening equipments A and A are disposed at both sides of the conveyer 4 and in the first position near the entrance 6 provided with an engaging mechanism which fits an inside of window frame 21 of a car 3, and with a conveyer mechanism 11 which actuates the mechanism 10 for opening the door. Robots B and B for painting operation are disposed in the second position in the center of the room, and door closing equipments C and C provided with an attaching mechanism attachable to the outside of the opened door 2, are disposed in the third position near the exit 7.
