This paper discusses the design of the automobile automatic inspection line.The system is controlled by three computers which can communicate with each others by net work.The solftware is developed by visual C++. With the help of phonetic equipment and displaying board.It is very convenient to conduct the vehicles on the line. The system arrangement. functions, hardware and software designs, and technology scheme were discussed. At present, the system has been used in practice and obtained good society benefits and economical benefits.
