The invention relates to new omega -aryl-alkylthienyl compounds having the Formula I IMAGE I i.e. omega-aryl-alkyl thienyl alkanoic acids and, respectively, omega-aryl-alkyl thienyl alkenoic acids, the alkali metal salts of such acids and certain esters thereof. The invention further relates to processes for the treatment of chronically inflammatory processes in humans.
