PURPOSE:To obtain a Cr-Mo steel having improved strength at high temp. and improved resistance to hydrogen attack by adding specified amounts of C, Mn, Cr, Mo, V, Nb, B, sol.Al, N, Si and P to Fe. CONSTITUTION:The composition of a Cr-Mo steel is composed of, by weight, 0.1-0.25% C, 0.3-1.5% Mn, 2.75-4% Cr, 0.8-1.5% Mo, 0.18-0.4% V, 0.02- 0.15% Nb, 0.0003-0.002% B, 0.04-0.1% sol.Al, 0.003% N, 0.2% Si, 0.01% P and the balance Fe with inevitable impurities.
