SHIP EXCLUSIVE FOR DEEP SEA SAND SUCTION, TRANSPORTATION, CONVEYANCE, AND CONSTRUCTION WORK

PURPOSE:To perform desalting during steaming and to facilitate conveyance, by a method wherein a device, which desalts dredged sand by the use of fresh water in a ship bottom, is mounted in the hatch of a push or a tag type barge, and the desalted sand is conveyed by means of a travelling crane and a conveyor. CONSTITUTION:A push or tag type barge 3 is provided with a hatch 4, through which sand is loaded, a desalting device which pumps up fresh water in the ship bottom and desalts the loaded sand, a portal crane 16 which travels on the upper part of the barge, a hopper 21, a conveyance belt conveyor 22, a suction pipe 8 which is moved down to the sea bottom through the working of a crane 9 installed to the side of the barge, and a conveyance conveyor 28 which is vertically, rockably located to the front of the barge and conveys the sand after desalting to land. Further, a slanted plate 32 which serves to change a sand-dropping direction, is installed at the forward end of the conveyance conveyor 28. This enables the sand to be sucked, permits the barge to nagivate to land as the sand is desalted, and also enables facilitation of a work to cnvey the sand.
