INPUT DEVICE OF KANJI AND KANA MIXED SENTENCE

PURPOSE:To obtain a result of Kana (Japanese syllabary) and Kanji (Chinese character) conversion in short time by a storage device of a smaller capacity, by providing a sound connection checking means for deciding whether it is allowed to connect a sound of every one character of a ''Kana'' character string or not. CONSTITUTION:A key code inputted from an input part 1 is read by an input control part 51, and in case of a Kana code, its character code is stored in an input Kana character memory 34. With respect to a Kana and Kanji converting candidate character string which has been decided up to the ending of an inflective word and has passed, and also with regard to a Kana character string which has not been converted but remained in the memory 34, a sound connection checking part 54 decides whether it is appropriate as an attached word or not, by one character each by using a syllable table 33. Subsequently, that which has passed is stored in a Kana and Kanji converting candidate memory 37, as a candidate character string converted to a Kanji and Kana mixed sentence in the end with respect to the input Kana character string.
