REMODELING METHOD FOR BARGE OF TANKER

PURPOSE:To remake remodeling work for a barge performable in an easy manner, by installing each overhang part in upper parts at both ends of a central hull being cut and separated from the stem and stern parts of a tanker, while cutting the ship into upper and lower hulls as supporting these overhang parts by each base flatboat on the sea and, after removing useless parts inside the lower hull being drawn out, joint these upper and lower hulls together again. CONSTITUTION:A tem hull 5 and a stern hull 6 are cut and removed from a tanker 1, while each overhang part 7a is formed in the upper parts at both sides of a remaining central hull 7. On the sea, in a state that each of these overhang parts 7a of the central hull 7 is supported by each base flatboat 11 via brackets 12, the ship is cut off into an upper hull 9 inclusive of these overhang parts 7a and a lower hull 10. The lower hull 10 alone is drawn out, and useless parts inside the lower hull are removed therefrom, while the upper hull 9 and the lower hull 10 are rejoined together. With this constitution, remodeling work for a barge of the tanker is efficiently performable in an inexpensive way without using a crane or the like.
