PURPOSE:To obtain titled composition having specific physical properties, with reduced ply loose in the zone covering the range from the buttress to shoulder in tire, by incorporating rubber with sulfur, organic acid cobalt salt and hard carbon. CONSTITUTION:The objective composition can be obtained by incorporating (A) 100pts.wt. of natural rubber or polyisoprene rubber with (B) 3-7pts.wt. of sulfur, (C) 0.5-5pts.wt. of an organic acid cobalt salt pref. cobalt stearate or cobalt naphthenate, (D) 50-70(pref. 60-70)pts.wt. of hard carbon with a particle size ca. =40mmu, (E) as a curing promotor, pref. 0.5-1.5pts.wt. of NOBS (N-oxydiethylene benzothiazyl sulfenamide) and (F) other ingredient(s). The cured product therefrom has the following mechanical properties; (1) 100% modulus 40-70kg/ cm2, (2) breaking strength =200kg/cm2 (pref. =250kg/cm2), (3) breaking elongation =380%.
