PURPOSE:To simplify constitution of an analog square-law operating circuit, by combining 2 voltage-current transducers consisting of a current mirror circuit, respectively, with a 1 quadrant current multiplier. CONSTITUTION:An analog square-law operating circuit is constituted of a 1 quadrant current multiplier 10, and the first and second voltage-current transducers 11, 12, and against an input voltage signal applied between a pair of input terminals 1, 2, its square-law value is obtained to an output terminal 3. The first V/I transducer 11 is constituted of the first resistance r1, and the first current mirror circuit CM1 whose output terminal P12 has been connected to the first current input terminal T1 of the 1 quadrant current multiplier 10. The second V/I transducer 12 is also constituted in the same way of the second resistance r2, and the second current mirror circuit CM2 whose output terminal P22 has been connected to the second current input terminal T2 of the 1 quadrant current multiplier 10.
