PURPOSE:To prevent the effect of photochemical smog by reducing the oil component in exhaust gas, by providing an oil blocking apparatus to a place not exerting adverse effect upon the sound-proof effect of a car exhaust cylinder. CONSTITUTION:An exhaust cylindrical part having an inner diameter equal to about 2.5 times of the inner diameter of a car exhaust cylinder is provided to a place not exerting adverse influence upon sound-proof effect so as to be spaced apart from the terminal end part of the exhaust cylinder. The interior apparatus thereof is constituted so that the initial part of the exhaust cylinder is formed into a rapidly widened cylindrical shape to easily perform initial exhaustion and the final part thereof is formed into a parabolic surface shape to easily perform final exhaustion. Oil absorbable heat resistant cotton cores are arranged in an concentrical ring configuration along the inside of the exhaust cylinder and the ring size thereof is gradually reduced. The exhaust gas of a car is easily revolved between the inner side wall surface and the cotton cores and the interval therebetween is taken so as not to lower exhaust efficiency while the contact of the exhaust gas with the cotton cores are sufficiently secured. The oil component in the exhaust gas is adsorbed with the cotton cores and body injury casued by a molecular compound resulting from the vaporization of the oil component is prevented.
