INTEGRATED CIRCUIT FOR DRIVING LIGHT SENSOR AND HYBRID INTEGRATED LIGHT SENSOR USING THIS INTEGRATED CIRCUIT

PURPOSE:To simplify the configuration of a driving circuit and to reduce number of connecting terminals by arranging IC chips zigzag or arranging light sensor element array of IC chip and wiring in a substrate dividing to both sides symmetrically with respect to axis. CONSTITUTION:An input/output pad 41 is placed on a semiconductor substrate 40. The substrate 40 is divided by a center line A-A', and n stages of scanning pulse generators connected symmetrically are provided in the divided areas. Scanning pulses are generated successively from the generators 45 according to start pulse from the pad 41. The scanning pulses are inputted to one side of logical product gates 44, and double pulse scanning pulses are generated from the gates by common input of prohibition pulses synchronized with the pulses. The scanning pulses are added to the gate of each switching element 43, and output pads 42 are connected to the pads 42. The gates 44, elements 43 and pads 42 are arranged symmetrically on the substrate 40 similarly with generators 45 to reduce the number of connecting terminals and simplify integration of circuit.
