K-EXTRACT OF MIDDLE BARK OF CAMPHOR TREE

PURPOSE:K-Extract of thin bark of camphor tree useful as an insecticide, or a drug such as remedy for athlete's foot, etc., obtained by boiling middle bark existing between the wood part of camphor tree and the black bark at the outside for a long time. CONSTITUTION:The middle bark 3 existing between the wood part 1 of camphor tree and the black bark 2 at the outside is boilded for a long time, for example, it is boiled in warm water at 40-50 deg.C for about 3hr, to give a stock solution of K-extract of thin bark of camphor tree. It is directly used as an insecticide or applied to the skin and used as a drug such as a remedy for athlete's foot, etc. useful for remedy of the affected part, or it is processed into an aqueous solution, pointement, or solidified or powdered, and used as an insecticide or a drug. Material wood of camphor tree is obtained during sawing, and together with the black bark 2 at the outside have been almost all abondoned in the past, used only as a fuel, but the middle bark 3 can be effectively used by this process.
