SYSTEM FOR PREVENTING VEHICLE DRIVING WITHOUT LICENSE

PURPOSE:To prevent a vehicle from being driven by a driver without license or with a false license, with a very simple means, by forming a driving license into a card like a credit card or a debit card and by providing the vehicle with a card reading unit and a control unit. CONSTITUTION:A driving license card L in which specific information DL inhirent to the driver is stored is inserted into a card insertion hole H in a card reading unit R. The unit R drives a card-loading signal generator A to generate a signal II which is sent out to a control device C. The control device C is for controlling the card reading device R and an ignition circuit EGC of the vehicle engine, and specific information DB inherent to the vehicle is stored in an internal memory M provided within the device C. This speficic information DB is compared with the specific information DL inherent to the driver and read out to the judging unit T. An engine starting signal IE is generated and sent to an ignition circuit control switch E only when the card is judged to duly correspond to the vehicle.
