METHOD OF REELING OF HIGH-QUALITY RAW SILK BY JETTING AIR

PURPOSE:To obtain raw silk preferably usable in the field of woven goods for foreign-style dressmaking and knitted goods, jetting air to traveling raw silk bundle of cocoon in reeling process wherein raw silk of cocoon is reeled to prepare raw silk. CONSTITUTION:The raw silk 2 of cocoon drawn from the reeling tank 1 is bundled by the bundling device 4, reeled by the feed rollers 5, passed through the air turbulent column 7, rolled up round the rollers 8 and wound round the small reel 9. The surface speed of the feed rollers 5 is made 5-30% higher than that of the rollers 8, an amount of the raw silk fed is increased, the raw silk bundle 3 of cocoon is made in a loosened state, passed through the air turbulent column 7, the raw silk bundle of cocoon is deranged by the jetting air, and divided. In reeling, another yarn is fed to the raw silk bundle, and combined raw silk can be reeled.
