COMPACT TYPE COAL GASIFYING COMPLEX GENERATION PLANT

PURPOSE:To obtain a compact generation plant at a low cost and improve thermal efficiency by arranging in parallel a gasifying furnace heat recovery boiler and a waste-heat recovery boiler and arranging these boilers contiguously in a same block. CONSTITUTION:A complex generation plant is constituted of a gasifying furnace 3, gasifying furnace heat recovery boiler 9, gas purifying equipment 8, gas turbine 14, waste-heat recovery boiler 17, and a steam turbine 20. The gasifying furnace heat recovery boiler 9 and the waste-heat recovery boiler 17 are arranged contiguously in a rectangular block. Therefore, the whole of a coal gasifying complex generation plant can be made compact and at a low cost, and further the thermal efficiency can be improved.
