METHOD OF CUMULATING OBJECT MOUNTAIN-HIGH IN OUTDOOR STORAGE YARD

PURPOSE:To improve the effect of preventing generation of dust, by a method wherein, when coal, etc. is accumulated outdoors, the surface part of an accumulation is pressurized to increase the density thereof. CONSTITUTION:The surface of an accumulation is pressurized by the use of a roller or a stamper 1, and the density of a surface part, ranging from the surface to a portion being about 400mm. deep therefrom, is increased by 5-30%. This causes provision of proper water penetration, and this effect may be maintained for 1-2 months. Thus, repetition of such pressurization at intervals of 1-2 months enables prevention of collapse of the accumulation for a long time.
