PREVENTING MECHANISM AGAINST WRONG LOADING OF FILM CARTRIDGE

PURPOSE:To prevent a film cartridge from being loaded improperly into a camera by providing an abutting member to the internal wall of a film cartridge insertion and loading chamber. CONSTITUTION:The loading part 20 of a camera into which the cartridge 1 is inserted and loaded is equipped with the abutting member 22 which constitutes a wrong loading preventing mechanism on the internal wall 21 facing the rear plate 4 of the cartridge 1. This member 22 is formed by molding it in, for example, plastic having high elasticity. The member 22 has an abutting pawl 23 and a pressure part 24 which extends to the inner side of the loading part 20 and its cross section bends in dogleg shape. The pawl 23 is fixed on the internal wall 21 and rotatable as shown by an arrow B around a rotating shaft 25 where the member is supported pivotally between the pawl 23 and pressure part 24. The end part of the pressure part 24 contacts the internal wall 21 and the pawl 23 also contacts the inner wall 21 when the cartridge 1 is not loaded.
