PURPOSE:To make it possible to measure the dynamic characteristic of a vibration- proof rubber, etc., even if no movement equation is established, by not only making it possible to measure the absolute value of an imaginary part independently of the displacement speed but also making it possible to measure the dynamic spring constant indicated by a real number part by the same unit. CONSTITUTION:Load signal F and displacement signal X are inputted from input terminals 4 and 5 repsectively. Signal F applied from terminal 4 to comparison point 6 is synthesized with the output fed back negatively from the second multiplier 8 and is multiplied by signal X from terminal 5 by the first multiplier 7, and the output is applied to integrator 10 through low-pass filter 9. Meanwhile, signal X from terminal 5 and the output of integrator 10 are applied to the second multiplier 8, and the multiplied output is applied to comparison point 6, thus constituting a closed loop here. Then, the input from comparison point 6 to the first multiplier 7 is branched, and the imaginary part is measured through commutator 11 by display equipment 12, and in respect to the real number part, the output of integrator 10 is measured by display equipment 13.
