PURPOSE:To prevent the deterioration of reform reaction due to an increase of the load of a reformer and invariably feed excellent reformed gas to an engine by providing a means preventing the over-cooling of reformed gas on a reformed-gas cooler. CONSTITUTION:In an alcohol reformed-gas engine reforming liquid alcohol into gas affluent in hydrogen by utilizing exhaust heat and using this reformed gas as fuel, a heat exchanger 2 performing the heat exchange between reformed gas and liquid alcohol is provided, and a bypass passage 22 bypassing the heat exchanger 2 to feed reformed gas or liquid alcohol. A control valve 23 increasing or decreasing the introduction quantity into the heat exchanger 2 in response to the flow of reformed gas or liquid alcohol is also provided. Thereby, the introduction quantity into the heat exchanger 2 is increased when the flow of reformed gas or liquid alcohol is large, and the introduction quantity into the heat exchanger 2 is decreased through the bypass passage 22 when the flow is small.
