ROTOR BLADE CHANGING DEVICE IN VARIABLE ROTOR BLADE TYPE AXIAL-FLOW FAN

PURPOSE:To prevent a rotor blade bearing from being exerted with uneven load, by supporting the arm of a rotor blade changing means in a variable blade type axial-flow fan by means of a bracket for the hub of an impeller so that the centrifugal load of the arm and the actuating force of a cylinder are prevented from directly acting on the rotor blade bearing. CONSTITUTION:A bracket 15b is projected into the inside of a hub 15 of an impeller which rotatably supports the blade shaft 12 of a rotor blade 11 by means of a bearing 3, and is formed therein with a through-hole coaxial with the axis of the blade shaft 12, the inner surface of the through-hole carrying a slide bearing 20. The front end part 16a of an arm 16 is so shaped that its embraces the slide bearing 20 which therefore is rotatably held, with a lubricating material 21 being filled between the side surface of the slide bearing 21 and the associated part of the arm 16. Further, the blade shaft 12 and the arm 16 are so arranged that they coupled together by means of a pin 17 to prevent stress other than the torque of the arm 16 from acting upon the blade shaft 12, thereby the bearing 3 is prevented from being subjected to uneven load.
