Equipment carrier coupled to three-point tractor lift - is articulated to permit horizontal withdrawal by actuator for ease of transport

The carrier assembly is intended for securing to the three-point lift coupling of an agricultural tractor to hold sowing, planting and soil tilling equipment. It comprises two centrally articulated halves on swivel levers. A double-acting hydraulic cylinder actuator permits swivelling these halves from a transverse operating position into parallel longitudinal positions either side of the actuator. - The carrier permits the equipment to follow irregularities of the ground surface in the operating position. In the lifted position the carrier is horizontal. A spring between carrier and tractor absorbs the weight during sowing.
