Three variable input signals are detected by accurate NTC resistance transducers; the temp. -tw- of the water leaving the boilder, the outside air to temp. -Tbuit - , and the required inside air temp. - Tbin. The relationship between these variables is defined by the equation: (TW-Tbin)/(Tbin-Tbout)=K, which includes a constant factor -k- which is a tatio between two ratio between two thermal resistances: the heat transfer resistanc between the boiler and the inside air, and the heat loss resistance between the inside and the outside air. - The transfer resistance depends on piping and radiator characteristics, etc, while the loss resistance depends on building structure, insulation provision, etc. The control panel enables programming of K factor, daylight timing, automatic frost protection, summer/winter switching, etc.
