The control device for the supply of fuel to a fuel/air mixture preparation system for a steam generator contains a consumption controller (1) for the untreated fuel fed to the system. Transmitters (4) for the fuel supply to the mixture preparation system and, via a differentiating unit (5), a transmitter (6) for the hot air supplied are connected to the inputs of the consumption controller (1). The output of the consumption controller (1) is connected to a drive (8) for the supply of untreated fuel. The device furthermore comprises a boiler loading transmitter (9) and a correction device (12), connected to the output of the latter, for the fuel concentration in the mixture. The output of the correction device (12) is connected to the input (13) of the consumption controller (1) for untreated fuel. The system for mixture control has at least two control devices (27) for the supply of fuel to the fuel/air mixture preparation system, a differentiating unit (20) and an additional summer (28). The outputs of the boiler loading transmitter (9) are connected to the inputs (29) of the said summer (28), while the output of this summer (28) is connected to the input (30) of a controller (22) for the total consumption of hot air.
