摘要
Rhizobium nodules developing on the roots of leguminous crops, mainly soy bean crops, are harvested at the end of the flowering period or during the time the pods are fillings out, by first defoliating the plants from the lower pods right to the top of the plant, using a machine with rotating reed drums, cutting the roots of the soy crop with a special tractor born knife at a depth of 10-15 cm below soil level, loosening the plants in the rows, pulling the plants out of the soil with a special pulling machine, stacking and drying the crop, and finally threshing the nodules with a combine harvester. The resulting nodule material is freed of soil by known wet or dry methods based on density difference. From the purified rhizobium nodules a standard row material is prepd. for the mfr. of inoculating and growth regulating substances.
