Harbour basin mud dredging method - uses forced flow generated by rotating propeller of moored tug boat

Forced water flow is created in the direction of the mouth of e.g. a river basin, using two longitudinal parallel floats, with a thin metal strip positioned between. Tugboat propeller movement creates a gradual displacement of silt and or mud from the basin to the river or sea. In the basin (1) at the side e.g. of river (2) there is a tug (7), moored by cables (9), which has a propeller (11). The guide has two floats (12,13) with a thin strip (14) between, but positioned deeper than the flow created by the propeller. The arrangement moves the mud from the basin bottom gradually to the river or sea.
