Potato puree production system - feeds potatoes into narrowing gap between perforated plates travelling at same speed

The system produces puree from potatoes etc, these being fed into a narrowing gap between two plates or belts travelling in the same direction and at the same speed. One at least of the plates or belts has a large number of apertures through which the material is forced then discharged. Each plate or belt can be part of a rotary drum (3), each containing apertures. At the gap, the aperture in one drum is always opposite an unperforated part of the other.
