In a carrying appliance for lifting out room cells, preferably of reinforced concrete, especially for lifting off inner formwork constituting their shaped space, by means of a four-sided supporting frame which has a connection for the hook of a crane and a plurality of tie rods for suspending the room cell, according to the invention the tie rods are attached to the ends of two parallel supporting-frame members which are guided so as to be jointly longitudinally displaceable between the tie rods in the other two parallel supporting-frame members held at right angles thereto, and the connection for the hook of a crane is movable transversely relative to the guided and longitudinally relative to the guiding supporting-frame members, the drive of the supporting frame and the drive of the connection being controlled respectively according to a pendulum swing in the supporting-frame plane or in the plane parallel thereto in the direction of the guided supporting-frame members and at right angles to these.
