On each of the flat sides of the vessel (1-4) is fixed a second plate (6) spaced from the first. The two plates have different thicknesses and/or vibration characteristics, and are tightly joined along their edges so that a closed space is formed. A medium accommodated in the space produces an acoustic connection between the plates, and can be adhered to them.
