摘要
The novelty is that the connecting elements are made of steel (a) contg. 0-0.15% C, 0.5-1.5% Mn, 0-1% Si, 19-22% Ni, 24-28% Cr, 0-0.5% Mo, balance Fe and trace impurities. The element is pref. made separately, then welded to the points in the workshop, followed by quenching from 1080-1100 degrees C into water. Arc-welding is pref. used with consumable electrodes providing a deposit with the same compsn. as the steel for the elements. Alternatively, the connecting elements may be of steel (b) contg. 0.2-0.8% C, 7-11% Mn, 0-1% Si, 2-6% Ni, 19-22% Cr, 0-0.6% N2, 0-1% Nb, balance Fe and trace impurities. Steel (b) is used for rails carrying high speed traffic.
