The improvement in the storage of biochemical energy in plants results from the use of solar energy or similar electromagnetic energy. The photo-synthesis by sunlight or synthetic light or their combination takes place in three dimensional grating cultures with plant and light gratings. The conventional plant grating and light grating are combined with a measuring grating and an environmental factor grating. The environmental factor grating has equipment to influence the environmental factors in the region of the plants. Consequently, the formation of products of photo-synthesis for energy storage is kept to a maximum value while the energy diminishing breathing processes are reduced to a minimum.
