The press stud has male and female plastics pieces each having a fixing element (5) and an active element (3,4). Each active element has a base (9,25) with an aperture and a tubular part (10,26) that juts out on one side of the base. These parts can lock together elastically. Each fixing element has a pin, with a head (15), that goes through the aperture in the active element. Its free extremity (18) is above the base and can be deformed to fix the two elements together.
