ABSTRACT OF THE DISCLOSUREThere is disclosed a continuous batch typewashing machine wherein means are provided for exchang-ing liquor in one or more of the successive compart-ments in which individual drums are rotatable in orderto avoid injury to the goods due to incompatibilitiesbetween the goods and the liquor which would resultfrom transfer of the goods into a compartment contain-ing the liquor and/or circulation of the liquor into acompartment for a drum containing the goods.
