ABSTRACT OF THE DISCLOSUREA process for separation of raw milk by centrifu-gal separation into cream, which is cooled in a first heatexchanger, and into skim milk which is heated to pasteuriza-tion and cooled by regenerative heat exchange in a secondheat exchanger, is described.. The characteristic featureis that the feed of raw milk is separated into two partstreams, of which the first is heated in the second heat ex-changer to separation temperature, while the second partstream is heated in the first heat exchanger and is thencombined with the first part stream and centrifugallyseparated.
