ABSTRACT OF THE DISCLOSURE: Method for performing predetermined operations of logging or intervention in a zone of a wellbore having from the surface an initial portion followed by an inclined or horizon-tale portion, said predetermined zone being located beyond of the initial portion of the well. The method comprises the steps of: down into said well a tubing string already equipped at its lower end of a tool body fixed to this end, this assembly being lowered into the well until the body of tool reaches said predetermined area; is lowered in the drill string a connector attached to the lower end of a cable, said connector connecting said tool body, said cable sliding through a member that is fixed to the drill string, and moves the tool body through said predetermined area by adding or removing additional rods to the drill string, over that body. And a device to implement this method.
