摘要

In the course of study in the technical education at junior high schools ,there is no designation on what type of plane is to be used. Consequently, the Japanese plane is used in all schools. This plane is a tool made for professional in the field and without any development is used as a teaching material in the classrooms. Therefore, there has been a study to develop the inadequate parts. Some research of a new type of plane have been done for some time by some reseachers , but there is still room for more devlopment before it can be used in class and complete solution has not been foun yet. It seems that the foreign plane with iron or steel stock is easy when adjuting a cutter because of its complete structure and also exchanging of parts is easily available. In useing the foreign plane as a teaching material, a comparison of the foreign plane with the Japanese plane has been made, in this paper.
