Mfr. of drawings, that can be duplicated by tracing on a transparent carrier paper, comprises using self-adhesive mounting films with pre-drawn details of the drawing. The mounting films consist of a film carrying the drawing having an adhesive layer applied onto one side and a strippable protective skin covering the film. When the protective skin has been stripped and the adhesive layer bared, then the film carrying the drawing is glued onto the transparent carrier paper. Specifically, a transparent paper can be used as drawing-carrying film. The protective skin is also a transparent paper which is provided, on that side facing the adhesive layer, with a non-adhesive coating e.g. a sprayed-on silicone layer.
