The carrier claw has a connection link for supporting loads on arched mine gallery prop systems. A threaded bolt, passing through the link shanks and a claw traverse, is secured by its head and a nut. On the outside of a shank (67) of the link (5) there is a cam (66), with a face (69) exerting blocking action. The face is supported on a face of the head (71) of the bolt. The cam can have a face rising at an angle from the exterior of the shank, merging into a face parallel to the link plane, the face being normal to the blocking surface. The bolt can be tightened by the force for the bolt insertion in the link shank and claw traverse.
