Method for the separation of the free (F) and antibody-bound (B) ligand in the performance of the labelled-ligand immuno-assays, characterized in that the separation is carried out by way of an immuno-immobilized precipitation reagent (IIPR) consisting of a finely dispersed immuno precipitate which has been gained after short time-incubation of normal serum (NS) of the donating animals of ligand specific antisera with an antiserum (AK2 ) against the immuno globulines of this species at optimized antigen-antibody-ratio.
