Collecting container for material crushed in a record shredder

The fine particles produced in a record shredder, especially particles of film, do not settle at all readily in the collection container, because of their electrostatic charge. They spread around the surrounding area, especially when the collection container is removed from the shredder. A remedy is found according to the invention by making the inside walls of the collection container of an electrically conductive material, so that the particle charges are dissipated. The discharged particles settle in the selection container without problem.
