The projecting safety nose at the tip of the arrow-shaped cutter bar fulfils the function of accommodating, directly in front of the cutter tip, height differences of individual U-profiles arranged in an inverted manner and transversely to the longitudinal axis of the waggon, in order to prevent material breakage on the cutter and a possibly associated blockage of the feed installation. The small feeler roller arranged in the centre on the lower lever linkage achieves the object of bridging small distances between the U-profiles, arranged in an inverted manner, of the platform surface of hardening waggons.
