Crawler-mounted travel gear for bulldozers or the like is provided with lateral running-mechanism frames and with drive means for the crawler tracks. So as not to load the drive sprockets with the weight of the supporting frame and in order to permit swinging of the running-mechanism frames without changing the geometry of the track guides, the supporting frame (1) is pivotably connected to the running-mechanism frames (6, 7) via spindles (15, 16) or shafts in alignment with one another and arranged transversely to the supporting frame (1). In addition, the supporting frame (1) is connected via a torque-transmitting connection to the running-mechanism frames (6, 7) or is supported on the latter at a distance from the spindles (15, 16) or shafts. The hydraulic motor (27, 28) with the associated gearing (31, 32) and brake for its drive sprocket (10, 11) is arranged in each running-mechanism frame (6, 7). IMAGE
