The cable (2) is wound onto the drum (1) running on the central shaft (3). The drum is fitted with a stop (B2) which comes into contact with the flat face of the cam (4) mounted on the shaft. The lever on the shaft is attached at its outer end to the spring (R) which is fixed to the drum at the opposite end. The weight (6) is suspended from the cable (2). Slack in the cable is taken up by rotating the drum in the clockwise direction (F1) under the action of the spring. As the cable tightens again the stop returns to the position (B2).
