Three=dimensional sound reproduction system - has four impedance matching circuits, low-pass filter, integrated dynamic compressor and clocked delay line

The sound reproduction system which is termed homophonic derives from consideration of stereophonic sound reproduction and holography in order to create a realistic 3 dimensional sound image of the original orchestra or performer. Four high fidelity small loudspeakers are arranged in a trapezoidal plane which is inclined towards the listener. By use of delay lines the sounds and echoes of the original concert hall are recreated authentically. The circuity used includes an input stage serving as mixer and separator and two low pass filters of the second order avoiding interference of the audio signal with the clock signal. Three separator and impedance matching circuits are followed by an integrated circuit dynamic compressor and a charge transfer delay line. A multivibrator with logic circuits serves as a clock, and there is a dynamic expander and a first order filter recreating the high frequency response of the concert hall.
