New medicine comprised by an aprotinine-plasmine complex, wherein the aprotinine and the plasmine are present in a ratio which may vary from about 1/1 to 2/1. The method for the preparation of said complex is carried out by bringing in contact plasmine or its precursor, i.e. the plasminogen associated with an activator, with aprotinine, in appropriate amounts, in an appropriate solvent, and by purifying the resultant aprotinine-plasmine complex by passing it on a sepharose-lysin column. Application as a medicin for fibrinolytic treatments.
