The electromechanical control device has cams, which operate control switches, driven in constant rotation by an electric motor by speed reduction appts.. The cams consist of two cam blocks disposed coaxially one to the other. The first cam block is joined angularly to a shaft which is kinematically joined to the output of a first speed reducer, although able to slide axially on the shaft to occupy one of at least two axial positions. In the first position the block is at rest, in which it is not placed opposite the switches which are to be operated, and in the second active position it is placed opposite the switches. The first cam block is kinematically connected via a second speed reducer to the second cam block. A control mechanism placed frontally between the two cam blocks, transforms the rotational motion of the second cam block into an axial movement of the first cam block in order to bring it into the second axial position against the action of a spring.
