The production method from cakes of vegetal origin of a composition usable in the fabrication of foodstuff for animals comprises the mixing of said cakes with lactoserum and with blood, seeding of said mixture with a yeast or fungus and maceration thereof, and the formulation of the resultant paste. It is provided a distribution assembly including on one hand a flexible and resistant tubular conduit (2) wherein the foodstuff is prepackaged, said conduit having at one of its ends a traction tongue (4) and, away from this end, at least one dispensing or distribution hole (3) and, on the other hand, a distributor having compression means (6) between which the tongue (4) may be inserted and pulled thereby subjecting the conduit (2) to an inner pressure which forces the foodstuff to escape through the hole or holes (3).
