DC supply connecting device for Gunn oscillator in waveguide

A rod through the wall of the waveguide carries dc current to the spring bellows and gun unit. The dc conducting rod passes through a boring which is shouldered in the waveguide wall. A centring disc of HF absorbing material holds the rod in position through the bore hole. A pressure screw presses down onto an HF absorbing disc and packing material to retain rod and other components in the correct position. The gap between the rod and waveguide wall for the section between shoulder and entry into the waveguide is filled with non-conducting adhesive material.
