Improvements to filters for protection against inhalable incapacitating and toxic substances and similar injurious substances

Filter for protection against inhalable incapacitating and toxic substances and similar injurious substances capable of being produced in the form of true aerosols. The protective filter comprises, in series with the usual filter and upstream of the latter, a network of passage channels which have a small separation between their walls, the said walls being saturated with an electrolyte which has nonnoxious vapour. The invention makes the usual absorption and adsorption filters effective against injurious substances in the form of true aerosols.
